In January of 1918, the war was still going on. President Wilson was drawing up proposals that soon became know as his 14 points. These points were the President's way of achieving his own plan for peace.
- No more Secret agreements is truly lacking in today's world.We want to know what is going on in our country!This however is not the case today. If it was still present we would all know what is really located in area 51, all of the FBI and homeland security "secrets" (YOU KNOW THE ONES THAT DON'T EXIST), everything! Although I must say if everyone knew everything, things could get out of control; which is most likely the reason why things aren't that way anymore.
- Countries reducing weapon numbers(oh this is a good one). If countries really still abide by this kind of thing, there would be no need to worry about who's gonna nuke us next. We cannot guarantee that other countries aren't more advanced in weaponry than we are. WE JUST DON'T KNOW!!!! Sure we have allies, but do they really tell us everything? I highly doubt it, I mean heck we don't even tell them let alone our own people everything! There is no safe way to say that we know about every threat out there to our country, because we don't.
- " An end to all economic barriers between all countries"-- I couldn't resist putting this one in quotes! This is SoooOOOOoooOOoooooOOOo the opposite of today. If this were still around, we wouldn't have to worry about gas and oil anymore!!!!! It'd make importing economic goods from other countries WAY EASIER!!!!!!
- Free Navigation of all seas. This one does exist today!!!!!!!! Granted during war, it can get a tad sketchy... but generally our ships can go anywhere they please, and the same goes for other countries as well. This one was one of the few if not only point that i believe still exists today.
